It is the 2016 SSA Fall Conference and Las Vegas is where it’s at!  We invite you to join us on Wednesday September 7th at 3:15 pm at the beautiful Caesars Palace in the heart of the woeld famous strip for a FREE educational presentation, “Asphalt Preventive Maintenance: Spend $1 Now and Save $6 Later” presented by Aaron (Eddie) Edwards of Morgan Pavement.  This informative presentation is free and open to all fall conference attendees.  We hope to see you there!

NVSSA is continuing to grow in many ways including our monthly membership networking events in both northern and southern Nevada.  There are new sponsorship and committee participation opportunities.  Stop by our booth in the Milano foyer next to conference registration and see what NVSSA membership can do for you.  Our Board is eager to meet you!

We are currently preparing for the 2017 Nevada legislative session and your continued support is vital to our efforts in effecting legislative change.  We are hosting our fabulous Annual Legislative Action Fundraiser on Wednesday September 7th beginning at 6:30 pm just outside the opening night Welcome Reception.  Support shown to NVSSA by the self-storage industry in previous legislative action efforts has led to some major successes in the Nevada legislature with the passing of SB-150 and AB-182.  NVSSA spearheaded those changes to the Nevada lien laws to provide protections to Nevada self-storage owner operators.

This year’s 3nd Annual TriState Conference happens on October 13 & 14 at the gorgeous Aquarius Laughlin Casino Resort along the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada where California, Nevada and Arizona meet.  This event will include two receptions and many networking opportunities in a relaxed and friendly setting.  Call Michelle Watson at 480-326-9520 for more information or visit our website events page at www.nvssa.org for more information.

Members, we want to hear from you and discuss your suggestions for upcoming educational and breakfast topics.  You may submit your suggestions via email to: Valerie@amnevada.com or call at 702-952-2455.
